Catalyst Consulting is a senior IIM alumni-led initiative, delivering customized corporate training in banking and finance since 2004. FLIP: Pioneering e-Learning in Financial Services
In 2009, our founding team launched Finitiatives Learning India Pvt. Ltd. (FLIP), India’s first large-scale EdTech platform for financial services training. FLIP delivered over 1,000 hours of e-learning, from CASA sales to M&A, with an impressive 80% course completion rate—far above the industry average of 10%.
FLIP offered 26 rigorous certifications co-branded with HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and NSE, setting a national benchmark for employability-focused training. Several banks formally recognized and preferred FLIP-certified professionals. The platform trained over 70,000 alumni before winding down in 2020.

Anjali has worked in Bank of America (Retail Lending) and Cognizant Tech Solutions, (Pre Sales & Domain Competency, Financial Services Group)

Her areas of expertise are Consumer Lending, Payments and Edtech. She is featured amongst IIML’s notable Alumni; and awarded at IIMPACT , a global IIM alumni forum, as an outstanding Alumnus.

She was on the Ministry of Education’s Task force on future ready skilling in BFSI . She is now on the Board of Governors of NISM, SEBI’s skilling arm. Her focus is NISM’s transformation to enable large scale capacity building for the capital markets industry.

Having worked as the CEO of a consistently profitable edtech, her strength lies in speaking the language of the business and its leaders; and understanding the measurable impact that skilling can give to business. She leverages this strength in both the strategy and execution of the assignments she delivers.

Anjali holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (1993) and an engineering degree from Karnataka University (1990).
Jai is a Markets specialist. He’s worked with ANZ Grindlays, Citibank, and Deutsche Bank, where he was Head, Forex & Short-term Derivatives. His areas of expertise are Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Risk Management and ALM.

He was a training consultant to The Central Bank of Sri Lanka’s Center of Banking Studies, for over a decade; Jai’s Treasury program was mandatory for all Sri Lankan Treasury professionals.

Jai manages a personal portfolio, tracking global economies and markets; his strength lies in a formidable grasp of how the complexities of market movements influence financial markets; and translating this understanding into extremely popular and insightful training interventions for banks, FIs and IT companies globally.

Jai holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (1991), a Master’s in Finance & Control (1989) and a B.Com from Delhi University (1987).
